Ullens Students on a Day Hike
53 Ullens Students from grades 8 and 9 participated in a day-long hike from Kirtipur to Pharping on Saturday, November 12, 2011.
The hike, led by the President of Ullens Education Foundation Mr. Som Paneru, also included 5 teachers.
The trail, which passes through scenic places like Champadevi and Hattiban, was planned as a test hike for the students who will be participating in a longer trek to Bigu Gompa in December.
As a new experience for many, students greatly enjoyed the weekend hike.
