Ullens Theatre Group at Cerebral Palsy Center
14th to 18th November was a memorable week for the 2nd
year IB Theatre to the Max group as they conducted a workshop with people with
cerebral palsy. This workshop was conducted at the SCGP, Self-Help Group for
Cerebral Palsy located at Dhapakhel, Lalitpur. The students conducted an
applied theatre workshop where they played games, shared stories and worked
together to devise a performance that was performed on the 18th of November.
The group was happy at being able to put up a performance and when asked how
the performance was the lead facilitator, Hritesh C. Regmi,
replied, "the performance does not matter. What matters is that all of us
and all of them had something to take with us from the workshop." The
theater group was advised by Hanna Lilly, theater teacher at Ullens
IBDP.
