Grades 4, 6 & 8 on Field Trips
Grade 6
students went on a field trip to Changunarayan on 23rd September, 2011 to understand and explore the works and contributions made
during the Lichchhavi Dynasty. The students made individual and group
presentations after the visit.
Grade 8 students went to the National Museum in Chhauni on 21st October, 2011 as part of their social studies visit. The students got to see different aspects of Nepal's modern history including wars, systems of governance and different ways of life. They followed up their visit by making reports on their observations.
Grade 4 students went to Bhaktapur this month to enhance their learning on the art and architecture of Malla period. They had an opportunity to see and interact with the excellent skills in the work on wood, stone and metals. This field trip was not just fun - it was packed with opportunities for learning science, social studies and technology that will stay with the students for a long time.
